Dying.MultipleEndings 2025, DesignTO Festival

​“Chronicle of the Unseen” is an interactive installation that explores the complex emotions of death, grief, loss, and healing. The piece invites participants to contribute personal reflections to small whiteboards, each labelled with the phrases “0 Days without…..” or “0 Days since my/our last…..”. 

These boards are designed to be continuously altered by visitors who are encouraged to write about their own emotional journeys of grief. These written expressions may include words, phrases, or entire sentences, reflecting moments of sadness, healing, solace and the passage of time. The symbolic "0" underscores the absence of a fixed timeline for healing, acknowledging that grief can resurface unexpectedly and the healing process is non-linear.

In fostering dialogue around these universal human experiences, the installation encourages cultural exchange and emotional openness. By inviting participants to share in multiple languages, the piece emphasizes the impermanence of feelings and the collective nature of healing. “Chronicle of the Unseen” offers a safe space for shared vulnerability, illustrating that healing is an ongoing, evolving journey.
