From the exhibition “An underlying perplexity”

Made during the first months of Iran’s revolution, in this work, I have written the verb “bear” on small pieces of paper, and then placed them inside 1000 clear capsules, each less than an inch long. This work talks about the weight of living in unbearable circumstances. Bearing is all we have left.
