In general, I love turning cheesy subjects into a parody of themselves. Letter to loved ones is a cheesy concept, yet truly intimate and memorable. I’ve done it many times and will do it in future. Here, I decided to play with the concept. I used multiple materials and created a leather-like parchment that used to be an important tools of communication in old ages.
Though the textures and colours also remind you of skin and flesh too. This letter has been brutally stitched in different parts. If you look closely you’ll see the crooked “unsaid” word being sewed on the parchment in a messy way without any order. They are in a way hand written. Showing lots of unsaid letters and words that have scattered my soul into pieces.
